The 28-year-old will receive a bumper pay package worth £90,000, falling behind Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand… The Reds this week were again named as The World’s Most Valuable Sports Team, with a value of £1.2 Billion. Forbes placed United at the top of the list, after sponsorship deals worth over £200 Million were struck over the last half-year with the likes of AON, Nike and Thomas Cook. The Glazer Family still make more operating income than any other team, more profits than any other team, and – of course – more debt than any other team – at £725 Million. Dallas Cowboys NFL, New York Yankees MLB, Washington Redskins NFL, New England Patriots NFL, Real Madrid CF, New York Giants NFL, Arsenal FC, New York Jets NFL and Houston Texans NFL complete the top ten most valuable sporting teams.
