It is understood that Sunderland have made a combined £12 Million bid for Manchester Utd trio John O’Shea, Darron Gibson and Wes Brown. The Red Devils have allowed the players to discuss the possible moves with Sunderland manager Steve Bruce and chairman Niall Quinn…
The Black Cats are interested in three of United’s fringe players, with Irish duo O’Shea and Gibson and English defender Brown the target of Sunderland’s £12 Million offer. Former back Steve Bruce wants to strengthen his squad this summer, after the Tyne and Wear side finished 10th in the Premier League last season. The former England International is understood to be content at Old Trafford, but will agree to move if he is offered first team football. Wes has made 361 apps for The Champions since 1998.
O’Shea, Gibson and Brown’s possible departures would bring to 7 the number of players who have left the world’s biggest club since the beginning of the year. Gary Neville, Edwin Van Der Sar, Owen Hargreaves and Paul Scholes have all either retired of moved on. Arriving are; goalkeeper David De Gea from Atletico Madrid, Blackburn Rovers’ defender Phil Jones and Aston Villa flanker Ashley Young…
