We take a look at the players who under-performed against Everton. The Blues ran out 3-1 winners thanks to a terrible defensive display by The Reds, with Jonny Evans probably being the main culprit…    

*5  Edwin Van Der Sar couldn’t do much about any of the goals…

*4  Gary Neville looked pretty shook, couldn’t keep up with the pace

*3  Wes Brown didn’t put in a good performance, at fault for at least one of the three goals

*2  Jonny Evans once again looked very shaky at the back, most definitely missing Ferdinand and Vidic !

*6  Patrice Evra wasn’t afraid to get forward, but lacked in defensive duties

*7  Antonio Valencia the only proper United player, got forward and caused panic for Everton – but didn’t get enough of the ball !

*3  Michael Carrick once again Carrick was off his game, at times he looked like Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner !

*7  Ji-Sung Park good in attack and defence, but just didn’t get enough of the ball !

*4  Darren Fletcher not a great performance, but did get the ball forward…

*5  Wayne Rooney he was barley involved and lost the ball alot, but it was poor by The Reds not the get the ball to him. He did work hard though !

*6  Dimitar Berbatov scored a clinical goal, but that was all he did. Skills and Flicks ended in disaster !


Substitutes

*3  Gabriel Obertan wasn’t much involved, and lost the ball – too awkward !

*2  Paul Scholes only thing he did was concede a free kick… and a goal !

*3  Michael Owen brought on much too late, didn’t even touch the ball
