 Manchester United are this morning understood to have formally bid €35 (£29) Million for Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder. The bid follows a day of informal talks between Sneijder’s agent and United. No other clubs are said to be showing interest in the Holland ace, who has scored 5 goals in South Africa to date… United have also displayed interest in Mario Balotelli, also of Inter – but will face stiff competition from clubs such as City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Inter will sift trough offers for the young 19-year-old, but The Reds will have to make a mouth-watering offer for the San Siro giants to let Sneijder go. Sneijder’s agent, Soren Lerby, is understood to have spoke with United over a possible bid for the 26-year-old Dutch midfielder yesterday. A formal bid of €35 (£29) Million was handed-in to Inter overnight, as talks continue on a possible move to Old Trafford.  Sneijder moved from Real Madrid to Inter Milan for just under £13 Million ! The future of the star may only be decided after the World Cup final, in which Sneijder’s national side will face Spain. Inter president Massimo Moratti yesterday admitted interest from United, but wants the ace to sign a new deal that would keep him in Italy until 2015. Meanwhile, as many of Europe’s top clubs express interest in Balotelli, the club has put a huge £30 Million price-tag on the Ghana-born Italian. City are still favourites to land the youngster, but Sir Alex won’t mind as long as he gets Sneijder.
