Patrice Evra will remain at United, despite interest from both Real Madrid and Inter Milan. The 29-year-old’s agent, Federico Pastorelo, has confirmed that Evra will sit-down with Sir Alex and David Gill over the summer to discuss an extension to his current contract, which expires in the summer of 2012…  

 
 
Ryan Giggs has said he is ready to open-up discussions on a contract extension with Manchester United. The 37-year-old veteran – who in his 20th year at Old Trafford – feels he has another year left in him. Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Antonio Valencia has returned to training, and is currently involved in a running program. The 25-year-old Ecuadorian fractured and dislocated his his left ankle last September, but is now sighting a February return.
