Pre-Season Friendly 20th July 2011 Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea has travelled to Manchester for his medical with the Premier League Champions. De Gea, 20, is believed to have agreed personal terms with United ahead of a proposed £20 Million transfer from Atletico Madrid. De Gea is fresh from winning the U-21 European Championships… David De Gea has told of his admiration of retired United goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar. The 20-year-old Spaniard will sign for The Red Devils this July, and is expected to become no.1 at the world’s biggest club. Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard is to undergo a knee operation later this week, which will rule the 26-year-old Denmark International out-of-action for approximately 5 weeks.
