Sneijder Must Take Pay Cut To Live The Dream 16/08/2011
The longest running transfer saga of the summer will come to a head in two weeks time, but one thing is clear: Wesley Sneijder must slash his wage demands if he is to join Manchester United. Inter Milan insist he will remain in Italy, but the general consensus is that the Nerazzurri will sell at £35 Million... This week, some daily newspapers claim that Wes Sneijder will take a pay cut to sign for United, while others suggest that Inter will keep their most prized asset. At the moment, the real situation is probably somewhere in-between, with United willing to buy, Sneijder willing to move and Inter willing to sell, but salary demands holding the potential transfer hostage. David Gill reportedly ceased negotiations for the player's agents to lower their requests. Wesley is 'desperately' seeking a new start at The Theatre Of Dreams - and if that's anything to go by - the 27-year-old Dutch midfielder should sacrifice £50,000 a week in favour of better football, fans, players, staff, stadium, training, facilities, and the list goes on. Quotes attributed to Inter brass read: "There has never been any kind of talks about Wes. Sneijder was untouchable before and he has become even more so now. Sneijder is going nowhere." Last week, Sneijder admitted 'unofficial' contact had taken place with Old Trafford, and that his future would be sorted-out by now. However, rioting caused the postponement of England v Holland at Wembley (which Sneijder was supposed to play in), and the mid thus never travelled to the country. The player is back in training at the 'Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti', after a short break in Ibiza, Spain with his celebrity wife Yolanthe. Now for Manchester ? CommentsTop gun 17/08/2011 2:56pm

As far as am concerned until we get some real concrete evidence of us signin sneijder, all this is jus complete n utter bullshit,we best jus stop talkin bout it,it really is drivin me absolute bonkers 18/08/2011 1:48am
if i were him(Wes),i will not think twice...about wages..you still can buy anything with 200,000 a week....but the better football, fans, players, staff, stadium, training, facilities and etc...you would never find it somewhere elsa...only in Old Trafford, the Theatre of Dream provides its....if u still thinkin',don't let the fans hope alive...just say it on TV that u don't want to leave Inter...easy as that...so SIGN THIS WEEK OR YOU WILL LOST YOUR PLACE IN RED DEVILS.......always believe G13 18/08/2011 1:53am
No point signing nasri. Inconsistent and being a typical mercenary SAF wont want him. GoetZe? Not in 2 to 3 years time, unless Barc or real wantZ to grab him.. Anyway I felt that cleverley, ando, pogba and Morrison should be given a chance to shine. And I'm sure they will!! ben 10 18/08/2011 2:11am
if we dont win the prem league we all no who to blame SAF for not geting what we and that is a world class player mr . F 18/08/2011 3:04am
Arsenal will never sell Nasri to their arch rivals..so forget about Nasri. Eventho, I would love to see him at Old Trafford. SAL19 18/08/2011 5:43am
Lot of you think that we badly need him. Think for a second, SAF said no more players! Wes saying that he wants to stay! Inter are saying that they don't want to sell! They are all holding out for a better deal. Come the 11h you will see that SAF and the team will pull it off. Its a waiting game and we should all wait. Two weeks is not going to kill us!! It's in today's papers that Sneidjer must put in a transfer request if he wants to join, thus foregoing a loyalty payment of 10% of the transfer fee from Inter. I'm only stating facts, but the deal isn't dead yet and I sense there is yet to be a few more twists before the 31st August simpson 18/08/2011 10:11am
inter and Manchester united agree on fee around 30 million euros....but negotiation upheld b'coz Manchester united offering 20 million euros upfront and 10 million euros on performance related..inter wants 30million euros straight cash...as i say so many times that terms allready agree....as sneijder confirm about unofficial talk with manchester united.. Darren 18/08/2011 1:58pm
I don't think signing him would make any difference to our CL hopes 'iRed'. anyone who makes it to the final will be slaughtered by Barcelona. Mankeb 18/08/2011 7:01pm
Come on manchester united Kosta 18/08/2011 9:49pm
@Bren ur rit but he doesn't want to leave Dortmund Red 4 Life 19/08/2011 2:07am
Please sign for us, Sneijder... PLEASE!!! ROBERT-UG: If sneidjer comes then i'll still register 20th leauge to united i'll also write Man city off even if they added on Nasri in there squard. 19/08/2011 7:30am
WTH !!!! 19/08/2011 11:03am
Why are not trying to get nasri ? City look there going to get him for around 20 million. why don't we just say to arsenal here's 30 million so they couldn't turn it down and sign him. The wes deal is so ambiguous and this one looks to be clear cut cause arsenal aren't in the position to keep him. Plus he said he wanted to join us and he's still young enough. Could this be another player lost to ours rivals and worst of all city ? Mo 19/08/2011 6:01pm
His not coming! Sign up nasri!!!! Bren 19/08/2011 9:46pm
Kosta- it's not that gotze dosent want to leave it's Dortmund don't want to sell. But throw in a bid for 25m and c what happens -Money talks true red 20/08/2011 11:33am
It's the Sanchez story all over again, we should buy goetze while we can afford him or in two years we will be wondering why we didnt buy him Kerry RED murphy 20/08/2011 2:47pm
