With the likes of Sir Bobby Charlton stating that Arsenal want-away Samir Nasri should have no second thoughts about joining United, it seems things are getting serious. However, Chelsea and Man City remain interested while The Red Devils stick to their guns on a £20 Million valuation... On Friday night, it was confirmed that Sir Alex Ferguson made an enquiry about Samir Nasri to hierarchy at the Emirates Stadium, but it was also revealed that as yet no club has made a formal offer to take the 24-year-old off The Gunners' books. Andre Villas-Boas and Roberto Mancini have both registered notice of the France International midfielder, who wants to win trophies before his current Arsenal contract expires in 12 months. United have been the most active football club in the European transfer market this summer, already wrapping-up almost £60 Million worth of recruitment in Phil Jones, Ashley Young and David De Gea. Although a defender, flanker and goalkeeper have arrived, Sir Alex is still desperately in need of a top-notch central player. Samir Nasri could be that mystery midfielder to replace Paul Scholes, likewise with Wes Sneijder or Luka Modric. Gunners boss - who you've got to feel sorry for at this rate (on the verge of selling Nasri, Cesc Fabregas and with Robin Van Persie unhappy) - recently told Arsenal.Com that he will do 'everything' to keep his star players at the club. But with Sir Bobby Charlton and Paul Scholes expressing their urgency for United to get their man in the shape of £20 Million Samir Nasri, you feel this transfer saga could come to a happy ending. For us at least. CommentsArfaan11 09/07/2011 2:38am

Latest news: Wenger planning on jumping ship... He'll follow nasri and become part of Uniteds backroom Sean 123 Mufc 09/07/2011 10:45am
if Nasri wants united move united want him which we do ; there is no way Wenger cn stop him coming to united ; or run his contract and leaving for nothing ;Nasri has told wenger he wants to leave so only one winner there ChrisW 09/07/2011 12:40pm
I suppose Wenger could just let Nasri run down his contract and leave on a free next summer. But then he'd almost certainly go straight to one of Arsenal's rivals (possibly us) anyway so what's the point? Why turn down £20-25m just to hang onto a player for one more year when the player doesn't even want to play for you anymore? True Red 09/07/2011 12:53pm

He would be a great addition, we need an attacking midfielder and it would be great to get one over the Arsenal scum :-) Sean 123 Mufc 09/07/2011 1:30pm
there is no truth in Nasri going to SHITE ; Sean 123 Mufc 09/07/2011 1:37pm

EXCLUSIVE: Wenger gets tough with Nasri as midfielder is forced to go... Daily Mail 13:42 True Red 09/07/2011 3:16pm
i hope he doesnt end up at shite but its looking more and more obvious ! i dont think nasri wants to go there but think arsenal are forcing him to end up there or renew his contract. Sean 123 Mufc 09/07/2011 3:35pm
@ True Red ;if they agreed a deal with Shity why would Wenger be forcing Nasri to go tour ; no one has that right story ;only Nasri knows were his going and he said Titles in an interview last week i dont see Shity winging titles we have made a bid FOR but Arsenal are deny it True Red 09/07/2011 6:02pm

personally i want Nani to stay.thats y i also does not like to include him in any bid for any player.if i have to choose between Nani or Valencia 100% i would go for Nani to stay play on right hand side.Valencia is good player but quality of Nani is too good let him go.one thing with Nani is he is not c.ronaldo he is Nani.this all Nani's real madrid dream story came after he dropped in UCL final. Sean 123 Mufc 09/07/2011 6:47pm
Talk sport said today Nasri wants united move'' but money talks with City ; and talk Sport ALSO SAY THAT Sneijder could be a united player soon l33bo 10/07/2011 12:02am
nani is a star player but his set pieces are shit freekicks etc never go over the wall corners never clear the 1st defender 10/07/2011 10:21am
if any body knws united,he should also knw that nani is uniteds only driving force when the game goes against united nd not valencia.our problem is that every body wants him to be like c.ronaldo which is impossible.he is nani nd plays very standard foothball we should nt thnk of loosing him or become as we were when c left. NiallOC 10/07/2011 10:48am
Everybody is talking about Nasri or Sneidjer. I think we will get both. Heard a rumour that everton want Carrick. So that would make it even better Joe t 10/07/2011 12:59pm
No way should we sell carrick!! He is the best midfielder on our team!! Nobody gives him enough credit for wat he does for united. Yes we need an attacking midfielder but we also need a holding midfielder, a.k.a CARRICK lass diarra would be a fantastic replacement though Paul T 10/07/2011 5:22pm
I have heard Fergie is going for both Nasri and Sneijder. David 10/07/2011 7:31pm
Yes he's after both alright I would very annoyed if doesn't get sneijder over the sake of a couple of grand they'd get that back ten fold if utd win champs league next season l33bo 10/07/2011 10:54pm
carrick is poor good against lower teams but against top teams he struggles. nani is a driving force no 1 wants him 2 be like ronaldo just be himself we hav 2many midfield players as it is so maybe some will go if fergie signs nasri and sneijder carrick Gibson fletcher won't play just sit on the bench when we can recoup some money for them. and wellbeck Sunderland were offering stupid money for him 12-14m I'd take it Rooney and hernandez are no1 strikers then Berba and Owen so not much space left for wellbeck or macheda. but trust in fergie he will do the right thing Let 11/07/2011 12:18am
Want both nasri n wes.nani must stay Sal the red 11/07/2011 5:22pm
Sky Sports news confirm Sniejder staying at Inter Milan. Player is happy and settled in Italy. Inter's manager says he doesn't want to sell. Closed case. Now it's Nasri or bust...over to you Fergie! Sal the Red 11/07/2011 11:24pm
Sky Sports News - Fergie says that it's unlikely that Man Utd will sign Nasri as he thinks he's going elsewhere. Prob Shity :( Sean 123 what happened to your sources??!!! Comments are closed. |
