Sir Alex Ferguson signs autographs on US Tour
Sir Alex may be signing autographs for the next few weeks, but he won't be signing a replacement for Paul Scholes in Wesley Sneijder or Samir Nasri, so he leads us to believe. Fergie might be up to his old mind games, but he said he expects Scholes' replacement to come from United's youth set-up...

The Red Devils touched-down in Boston, USA on Monday ahead of this summer's pre-season tour. The ensuing press conference was full of questions about the club's activity in the transfer market, but the gaffer denied that he was close to buying a replacement for Paul Scholes - recognised as Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder - nor had he agreed to sign Arsenal flanker Samir Nasri. Both players have been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Former defender Gary Neville revealed he's keeping his fingers crossed for the possibility of Sneijder ending-up at United, but both Inter manager Gian Piero Gasperini and the player himself have stated that the club aren't in the habit of selling their best player. Meanwhile, Danny Welbeck has been assured that he will play adequate first-team football with The Champions next season, and will not be loaned or sold.

New signing Ashley Young travels with Manchester United to The United States Of America
New signing Ashley Young on-board
On replacing Scholes, the boss said: "It's very difficult. If you bracket four of the best midfield players in the world, he'd be alongside Xavi and Andres Iniesta and then you take your pick. In my mind he was one of the top players in the world. Maybe the next few weeks will help us overcome it, maybe somebody will emerge out of the youth team or one of the young players emerge, and then we carry on."

"I don't think he's coming to United." The boss said on the Nasri situation. "I think he's agreed to go somewhere else. Maybe he has to stay at Arsenal, also. That's a possibility. But that's a decision he (Arsene Wenger) has made. If he stands by that decision it's a brave one. I'm not sure the Arsenal directors will enjoy that one, but it's possible." So, we'll have to wait and see. Again.

This is real crab!!!! Suddenly the replacement for Scholes us coming from the youth team???!!! Bullshit!!! This is a scam fir us fans to believe that we're buying players of top world class caliber, but who did we buy??
Young, Jones and De Gea.. !!!!
Are they world class?? Maybe in the future not at this point of time.... With these 3 signings can we be like Barcalona???!!!
I'm sure the Glazers are up to their old dirty tricks.. They say they have £100M to buy players but end up buying only 3. What's going to happen to the remaining £50m????
Settling their personal debts????
Year on year out it's the blady same excuse..
Enough of cheating the fans. You get the results but we want the quality !!!!!!

Why are we lookin for Scholes replacement when he's already in the squad? There's no player that can replace Scholes but Wayne Rooney.
Wayne would be a class midfielder! Jus like Scholes, he can make a 60yrd pass with brilliant accuracy or the simple 6yrd pass and we all know he can influence the game brilliantly and also give us atleast 10goals from midfield.
Seein that we hav an abundance of strikers, I really think Wayne should be moved to midfield!
Rooney: 10goals
Nani: 10goals
Young: 8goals
Chicharito: 23goals
Berbatov: 20goals
Others: 30goals (owen, welbeck, other midfielders, defenders)
That's about 100goals which I believe seals the premier league n we've saved £35m on a player who isn't too keen on joinin United.
We can use that money the next season to buy a better younger player!

more information from the web

United Source: "Sneijder close, perhaps coming Wednesday"
Despite assurances yesterday on the desire to stay at Inter, England depict the future of Wesley Sneijder always less than Inter. The British tabloid The Sun reports a statement of fact, a source of Manchester United, presumably a player, who said: "Everyone expects a move from United to Wesley, who will be announced soon, perhaps as early as Wednesday - says this source, which He added - Sneijder has already spoken with his fellow countryman Nigel de Jong to find out what are the best places to live in Manchester. It all seems imminent, no matter what the Inter or Wesley may say in public. but do not want to sell Inter want to admit it, Wesley wants to go but do not want to say. And 'a successful venture for him and for Inter, "said this source anonymous. The tabloid also continues to reveal the figures of this alleged operation. Inter 39 million euros, 220 thousand pounds a week to the player. We'll see if this item will be confirmed, but when Sneijder is an Inter player.

This stories follows up the one from "The Sun" where a "team-mate" of Sneijder's? said a deal was immenent. I have talked to Darren_Can they idea that it is Gary Neville is interesting, but I doubt it as the source talks about Sneijder talking to De Jong about places in Manchester. It COULD be an Inter team-mate and infact it might even be Zanetti lol he's a bit of a blabermouth.

2nd YES, it is true what you guys have heard today, Palermo's Pastore would prefer to stay in Italy and Inter would be an ideal choice for him. However, as mentioned before, INTER NEED THE FUNDS FIRST and they would get the money by offloading Sneijder to United. This one is taken from Sky Sports24

Sky: If part Sneijder, Pastor of Inter
According to reports from Sky Sport24, Inter could get back in the running for pastore in the event of departure of Wesley Sneijder. Are becoming more insistent rumors that the Dutchman close to United, among other things he has never made any secret of being well at Inter, but if Inter were to accept the proposal 'indecent' of English who have an absolute need to replace Scholes will not resistance to accommodate the new squad. The same Yolanthe said that if it relocated to Manchester will begin to learn.

And then Moratti may reinvest the amount in the pastor, who
is set to leave

Guys, again I reported this last night from watching Sky Sports News, When they had James Cooper, the Sky Sports reporter on the phone who was actually at the Press Conference. And INFACT SAF WAS ASKED ABOUT SNEIJDER FOR DODGED THE QUESTION OR TRIED TO VERY QUICKLY..here's what James Cooper said:

James Cooper Sky Sports: "In the same question (As Nasri) he was certainly asked about Sneijder he was left obliging about that and just look there are bits happening on that, SAF admitted today he has got a bit of a problem when it comes to replacing Paul Scholes and having said that Samir Nasri he thinks will go somewhere else I guess ALL ROADS PERHAPS LEAD TO WESLEY SNEIJDER". Very Encouraging news!

SAF says..."Maybe the next few weeks will help us overcome it ------- COULD HE BE HINTING A TRANSFER MAYBE POSSIBLE OVER THE 3 WEEKS IN STATES? , maybe somebody will emerge out of the youth team ----- THE LIKES OF RAVEL MORRISON? or one of the young players emerge ---- WHICH YOUNG CM WE HAVE ON THE TOUR? ANDERSON?? CLEVERLY??? WHO ELSE????, and then we carry on." Why sanchez when we have so many talented forwards and wingers? Nasri will be a wise buy due to his age, and from SAF's comments, almost certain that we've made attempts to sign this kid. Sneijder? well..we always have a dutch in the winning team..Stam, Van De Gouw, Van Nistelrooy, VDS, so maybe Sneijder?? He will be an instant fill in the hole man. Anderson will understudy for few more years before taking over. With Sneijder and Carrick in the central, with Anderson, Giggs, Fletcher, Cleverly on the bench, United will be quite safe! Will not be light weighted to the Barca's CM. After the sales of Wes Brown and O Shea, seems like not sufficient cover on the right for Rafeal...so the Gaffer might wanna try Valencia there, which can be the reasons why he bought Ashley Young. In Short, be sure the old wise man knows what he is doing.. just that as a die hard fan, it is natural to get alittle impatient. =)

Inter and Manchester United 'in talks' over sensational €40m Wesley Sneijder deal
Red Devils step up their efforts to seal move for 27-year-old Dutch playmaker as Serie A club plan to use cash to for rebuilding ageing squad
Inter
midfielder
Wesley Sneijder
is moving closer to a sensational €40 million transfer to
Manchester United
as both clubs have begun talks over a switch to
Old Trafford
, Goal.com understands.

The Italian outfit have informed their English counterparts that they can land the 27-year-old playmaker for €40m, while Sneijder himself is 'intrigued' by the possibility of a move to the Premier League.

While the Red Devils have yet to formally submit a bid, Inter have accepted that the Dutchman is on his way out of San Siro, and be could be willing to let him go for as low as €34m, Goal.com have learned.

"United have increased their interest over the past 48 hours. The clubs are now in talks, but they will have to agree a fee," a source close to the discussions told Goal.com.

"Inter know his value, so they are aiming for £35m (€40m), £30m (€34m) at a push. They are ready to sell him, but only under their economic conditions. He is not a player they consider unsellable. The next move is down to United. If they satisfy Inter's requests, then Sneijder will be playing for United next season."

Sneijder believes a move to the Premier League champions could offer him the chance to add to an already impressive career tally which includes domestic titles in Italy, Spain and the Netherlands, in addition to a Champions League-winners' medal in 2010.

"He knows he would have better chances of winning things at Manchester United compared to Inter, especially on the international front," the source added. "Sneijder is intrigued by the Premier League and he wants to try a new experience there. He can speak fluent English and so he would have no problems settling down."

The former Real Madrid man has indicated that he wants a move to Sir Alex's Ferguson's side, but has not publicly spoken of his desire to leave in order to avoid the ire of Inter fans. He has a contract at San Siro which expires in 2015 and would be content to see out his terms if a transfer fails to materialise this summer, hence his reluctance to push for a move in the public eye.

"Wesley is trying to make it seem that it was Inter who wanted to sell him, rather than have people thinking he was the one who wanted to leave," the source continued. "At the moment he does not want to say much as he doesn't want to upset the Inter fans.

"But if Inter and United reach an agreement, then he would be delighted to join them. He said he would be sorry to leave Inter, but in reality he would not be sorry. Sneijder is not pushing to leave, but neither is he against an exit."

New Inter head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has yet to stamp his mark on his squad and would have the proceeds from a possible Sneijder sale at his disposal for new arrivals.

"Thirty-five million is enough to convince [Inter president Massimo] Moratti to sell Sneijder, and he will then spend part of the money for a top left-back, as Gasperini wants a player for this position."

Nonetheless, Inter director Marco Branca maintains that no deal for Sneijder to leave is in place.

"Sneijder will not be sold," he told assembled reporters at the unveiling of new signings Luc Castaignos and Ricky Alvarez.

Champions League finalists United are embarking on a significant summer rebuilding campaign of their own. Sir Alex Ferguson has already signed David de Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young, but is still seeking replacements for outgoing central midfielders Owen Hargreaves and Paul
Scholes
.

The Manchester United manager confirmed on Tuesday that he was no longer in the market for Arsenal's Samir Nasri but was hoping to bring in a creative midfielder.

"If we can get a player along similar lines [to Paul Scholes] in terms of the quality of his passing and vision, then yes we'd have to do something," Ferguson stated.

Believe what you what, but this is what my mate in Italy told me aswel, that we have not bid yet and that talks had "Stepped up" in the last few days.

Now thats some good shyt Utd3k. Come on Sneijder! You know you want to go to that hair transplant place Roo went to.
