Manchester United squad train in Seattle, USA
Manchester United's 2011 US Tour squad has been reinforced with the arrival of four youth players. Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck all arrived on Friday in Seattle. David De Gea will fly out on Sunday, while Javier Hernandez, Tomasz Kuszczak, Darron Gibson Darren Fletcher and Antonio Valencia remain at Carrington...

The quartet of England Under-21 Internationals arrived by private jet to Seattle, before being bused to United's team hotel. Jones, Smalling, Cleverley and Welbeck all took part in the U-21 Euro 2011 Championships in Denmark this summer, where De Gea's Spain won the tournament. England were eliminated prior to Spain, meaning the four arrive in the United States ahead of The Red Devil's new goalkeeper, who flies to the West Coast on Sunday.

Chicharito remains in Manchester, and is expected to join the squad next week after his exploits for Mexico in the 2011 Gold Cup, in which he led his team to victory. Antonio Valencia has flown back to Carrington Training Centre in Trafford, after sustaining an ankle injury in Ecuador's Copa America conquest. He may not meet-up with United in The States due to fitness concerns, having already sit-out half a year on the sidelines last season.

Darren Fletcher has been struck with a severe viral infection, and has stayed put at the club's training ground in an attempt to regain full fitness for the start of the new season. Darron Gibson's proposed switch to Sunderland is off the table for the time being, with interest now coming from Stoke City. Gibson was left out of United's USA Tour roster, as was Tomasz Kuszczak. German team Bayer Leverkusen are in talks with the goalie's agent.

If City get Nasri and Aguero then we are fucked. There are even whispers that they're coming in for Sneijder too. FFS. We should've just slapped £40m on the table and say "ta very much". Now while we're pissing about with insulting bids for the player, City are going to swoop in and just give Inter whatever they're asking. I'm sick of this shit.

Hi folks, please be reminded that this is not Championship Manager! In real, you can't buy your way to success. Be happy with the 3 signings we've made! To spend 90 millions on 1 player? Are you guys crazy? How many of you earn that kinda wages, or anywhere near that? Be realistic.

are u for real diarra is over rated. he is a quality player and does the same type of job makalele use to do for real and chelsea
he would be a great signing for us and has played in the premiership unlike de Rossi and rodwell is unproven and too expensive
diarra could be brought for around 10 m according to reports
and also rodwell has no champions league experience

Lassana Diarra? He was a flop at both Arsenal and Chelsea , then moved to Portsmouth and was average , then Madrid , who does not want him , bought Khedira to replace him.... think carefully people , diarra is not good enough for united , why dont people have common sense these days !!!

he was never given a chance at arsenal or Chelsea. fergie is a big admirer of him so we will c. if anyone can bring the best out of a player it's fergie.
