Horn Of Africa Famine, GOAL is on the ground now
Millions of vulnerable people are facing starvation in Somalia... GOAL need your assistance !

The United Nations (UN) has declared a famine in parts of Somalia. Millions of people there, and across the Horn Of Africa, continue to face starvation. GOAL has allocated €500,000 from their emergency funds to support the efforts to alleviate the current suffering. A GOAL team is responding to the deteriorating situation in southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, and is assisting refugees crossing the border from Somalia.

GOAL have provided clean water to 140,000 people and food aid to thousands of particularly vulnerable, malnourished refugee women, and children under five years of age, in the Somali region of the country. They are continuing to procure food aid, medicines and hygiene materials for immediate distribution. GOAL's drought response programmes in Ethiopia have been in progress since January 2011.

The programme has been supplying clean water, food aid and nutritional treatment for malnourished children. GOAL are also assisting in the relief operation in Kenya, where they are providing emergency shelter and arranging for the distribution of hygiene kits to hundreds of families at the Dadaab refugee camp in the east of the country. However, the greatest concentration of people in need is in Somalia.

GOAL is doing everything in it's power to convince the International community to open and maintain safe humanitarian corridors for the delivery of aid to those desperately in need of assistance.

LATEST SNEIJDER TRANSFER NEWS UPDATES
25/07/2011 7:15pm

Latest on Sneijder: http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/?action=read&id=283938

"According to today's edition of The Sun, Manchester United executives have flown to Milan to Inter deal with the Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder purchase. David Gill - General Manager of the Red Devils - has spent the day yesterday in the Inter headquarters to discuss the final details of the agreement. For the British tabloid the transfer is very close: just under 40 million euros to Inter and a rich multiyear contract for the player."

Looks like it's on again. Will we see Sneijder in a United shirt? Only the clock will tell...

Think we will have a couple if new midfield signings this year. Guys be cool. There's always been signing at utd up until the very last day of the transfer windows. We have loads of time yet. The hard thing to do is wait. But thats all we have to do. SAF knows the business inside out. Respect the man who won't lay down for no one man. If he did that then he wouldn't be the icon in world football he is today. We will
Get our targets. But won't be bullied into them by anyone! Trust in SAF.

Press conference just now:

Journo: "Will you sign a central midfielder?"

SAF: "at this moment in time, I can't see another addition. The player we need is not available to us, so we'll get on with what we have"

FFS.

Inconsiderate rascals! Can't you take a moment and think about the millions that are facing starvation? Or is who Man United signs more important? Or is that your just too ignorant to know where the Horn of Africa and Somalia is? This is about the pple who are suffering with the famine not about any transfers!!!

Exactly, we won't get him. He's too expensive. Let's look around the bargain bins instead.

I know it sound crazy but what if every club donates 1million for these poor people , it the least they could do after spending 10m for just a shitty player, this money would make a difference in the world.

I do agree, there won't b anymore signings.
I don't think it's SAF, it must b the blast Glazers... 100m was set aside to purchase players. Only 3 signings and the total amount spent was 50m odd, what happen to the remaining? If Wesley cost 30mil plus, what's the problem?????

It's been sometime since we have signed quality world class players, but have created them and sold for tons of million...

Guys, it's never gonna happen....!!!!

We don't know what's going on behind closed doors, we all want sneider but he hasn't done a tevez and said he wants to leave his club also there's about 9 agents who want there own slice of the pie if he is coming so its taking forever, and let's face it agents are money grabbing pricks!

Donate food and clothing. But no money. Coz they will kidnap seafarers buying more weapons and ammunition.
