Kiko Macheda
Italian striker Federico 'Kiko' Macheda says he endured a 'difficult situation' on loan with Sampdoria between January and May, who were relegated from Serie A. The 19-year-old talent has already made his mark at United, and wants to return to the Premier League Champions...

Kiko Macheda hit the back of the net just once in 12 games for United at the start of last season, scoring a crucial goal in a 2-score comeback to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa in the Premier League during November. The forward then moved to Sampdoria on loan in his native Italy in January, scoring once in 16 appearances for the Serie A side. It was a relegation-ending experience, and one that Kiko admits he did not enjoy. A return to United is on the cards.

"It was not easy to go from United to Sampdoria and to fight to avoid the drop was a difficult situation,"
Macheda told Sky Italia. "I wanted to have an experience in Italy, but now I want to remain in the Premier League. England is better suited for young players. I arrived in Genoa with great enthusiasm," added the U-21 Italy star. "The first few games the team and I did very well but after the defeat to Napoli, I did not find continuity."

I'm surprised he didn't do well at sampdoria, think we should send him on loan to a premiership club till Christmas. I don't think he'll get much games for us yet.

I would much rather United spend the money on someone like Mata - his attitude is awesome and contagious. Nasri will be a disruption to the team as he is moving for the $$.

Kiko - I wish you the best of luck and think SAF should give you a chance to show your class. Let's hope you stay humble and show MANUTD that you can bring an element to the forward attack that is unique. You attack defenders and cause problems. Chico is a great inside the box poacher and you are a great outside the box finisher. That is a great combo, especially with Rooney acting as the #10.

Looking forward to another great season

why would we sign Mata when we jiust signed young does not make sence maybe if park leaves then maybe but at the moment no;ya i herd Nasri will sign to it is understood Nasri agent and man untied already agreed terms and are jiust wating for united to agree a fee with the Gunners ; the gunners will have to sell him to us cos Nasri does not want to play for any one else only than united so we could have him evey soon

agreed with the mention of juan mata he's world class already and so young. I hear that barcalona are interested in nani after loosing out to Sanchez 25m nanis value easily
lass diara is the signing we need or a cheeky bid for joey Barton 1m even if it doesn't work out we can still sell him on. but I think under the right manager he could do well

Just because he wants to go to us dosent mean wenger will HAVE to sell him to us! Rememer heinze he wanted to go to liverpool but SAF wouldent let him go to liverpool so HE sold him to real madrid. And i really dout that wenger will sell him to his RIVAL! and even if he dosent sign a new contract he will get sold to another club. No chance of us getting him

Hey Sean.

My comments on Mata vs Nasri was more to do with attitude than position. After watching him, I think Mata could play well linking up Rooney and Chico. Regardless, I feel that Nasri - although skillful enough to start at ManUtd would bring the the team mentality down. Nasri is all about Nasro and I dont even think SAF's hairdryer treatment would change him. He is far from a team first player.

I just dont have a good feeling about this and the last time I felt this way we ended up paying 30mil for Berba. SAF did a good job integrating him but ultimately he was benched for the biggest games of the year. Same will happen with Nasri.

I just need a playmake n that is not nasri. I don't know what fergie got in mind about bringing all this forwarders. I think we need a talented hard working scoring midfielder like cantona. I just don't like alnasri

We need someone who can play CM too like Modric. Nasri can't play Cm he normally plays CAM OR WING in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Nasri can make things happen and that is what we need right now , if we want hard workers we got park and fletcher , what we dnt have is a someone who can make sonething out of nothing , which is exactly why we need nasri , and i bet he can play in cm , he himself likes that position , so no doubt nasri is the man for us rite now !

Hi Carl.

Sneijder is a few steps ahead of Nasri in terms of skill and would be a better signing for positional need for sure but he will most likely cost over 30 mil with 250k per week wages. If that is so, that will disrupt the entire pay structure of teh club and send MANUTD dangerously close to the edge of the Finaincial Fair Play red line. Would I welcome him? I dont know. I wish we could have got him at bargain when Real sold him off as spare parts.

I would rather they bring in a younger promising player (with the experience that someone like Mata has - WC, CL, U21... etc)... for half the cost. Doesnt necessarily have to be Mata. Ozil would have been PERFECT. Someone like him. Prices for some of tehse guys are seriously over-inflated...

Cleverley could play well if groomed properly too.

De Gea signs to fill the void left by vds all we need is a replacement for scholes.. Modric and sanchez are out of the running and sneider doesnt look likely because of his wage demands.. Best bet would be to go for nasri but again will wenger allow him to come to old trafford? Tbh i dont think so, so maybe this could be the end of our spending spree this season, i hope not but things dont look too bright for midfield playmaker. Prossibly a defensive mid but theres anderson n fletcher who i think need a long run in the team and they could make that position their own given the opportunity.

Nasri story has cooled for now. mean while tiago has signed a new contract with Barca with his buyout clause 81 million; i think it is between Nasri or Sneijder at the moment Nasri is winging the race it could all change do lest wait and see
