Manchester United wonderkid Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez claimed 'Top Goalscorer' and 'Player Of The Tournament' awards with Mexico in the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup, as 'El Tri' fought-back in phenomenal style from 2-0 down against the United States Of America to win 4-2. Reds striker Chicharito was on hand to assist the first goal of a quadruple for his nation, and bagged the Golden Boot accolade with 7 goals in 9 games.
 
Michael Bradley and Landon Donovan put The USA into the lead within 23 minutes from kick-off, but Mexico quickly responded with Chicharito setting-up West Ham United winger Pablo Barrera to pinch one back for the most accomplished Gold Cup country. Javier Hernandez had hit the post in the opening stages, and was later ruled wrongly offside when he was one-on-one with former United keeper Tim Howard, on front of over 90,000 spectators.
