Manchester United's finest were rewarded for their season of hard graft at an Old Trafford gala dinner event on Wednesday. With stars past and present in attendance, Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez was awarded the 2011 Sir Matt Busby Player Of The Year gong, voted for by Red Devils' supporters online. Luis Nani picked-up the 2011 Player's Player Of The Year accolade, while Wayne Rooney bagged the 2011 Goal Of The Year award... 

Oliver Gill - son of United CEO David - received the Denzil Haroun Reserve Player Of The Year shield, and academy youngster Ryan Tunnicliffe was named Jimmy Murphy Young Player Of The Year. The extravaganza at The Theatre Of Dreams attracted a large crowd both inside and outside of the stadium, as media gathered to snap United's heros on the red carpet. Players and their wives/girlfriends (WAGs) were all invited to the MUTV-Live occasion.

Chicharito was announced Fan's Player Of The Year, following a poll conducted on ManUtd.Com. The 22-year-old Mexican striker was delighted with the honour, which was well deserved considering his 20 goals in 44 games in his first season at the club. Nani was handed the Player's Player Of The Year - with the 24-year-old Portuguese winger becoming an integral part of the team - assisting and scoring a combined total of 33 goals in 32 appearances.

Wayne Rooney was, predictably, on the end of the 2011 Goal Of The Year award after his jaw-dropping overhead kick against Manchester City at Old Trafford, which the 24-year-old English striker netted on February 12th in the Barclays Premier League. Roo's amazing strike has, in part, made-up for his off the field actions and previous poor form - as, without his bicycle kick - United wouldn't yet be reigning Premier League Champions of 2010/2011.

Ollie Gill was rewarded for his fantastic season in defence for United's second-string, taking the Reserve Player Of The Year award. The 20-year-old English defender is heavily involved with the club both on and off the pitch. Ryan Tunnicliffe was beneficiary of the Young Player Of The Year, after the 18-year-old Bury-born midfielder led the Academy to many victories this campaign.

Results displayed by the club's official website show that Chicharito claimed the Sir Matt Busby award by just 1%, on 21%, ahead of Nani on 20% and Nemanja Vidic (pictured with wife Ana Ivanovic) on 16%. The get-together also celebrated United's record-breaking 19th Premier League title...
