There has to be some element of truth in there as otherwise they would be taken to the High Courts. However theres many media sources printing different things and I take most things they run with a pinch of salt. Papers are there to SELL SELL SELL. The more shocking the headline & story the more $$ they make. So they will take something and fabricate it.

We can all sit here til the end of time debating what aspects of the story are true or not, but at the end of the day I couldn't care less.

The thing im concerned about is the impression the whole ugly situation has left on the youth. Its leaves the impression that men can mess around & treat women like that & for girls they will think wag/escorting maybe a viable career choice.

I'm not saying all little girls & boys will, but Rooney is a role model & his conduct off pitch is watched because of this crazy celebrity obssessed culture we live in.

But anyway the true role models of United are players like Giggs & Scholes. Who play for the love it & have maintained a private life.

If Rooney did have an affair it will be easy to be proven, (bank statements, texting records, and photo's from the casino they had alleged to have kissed in).
The JT affair was 100% true because images of him and his part time bird were published, there has been non of JThompson and Rooney.
I think it may be true but the papers wont have enough evidence to convince everybody.

I've been informed from a friend in the media that there are 3 other england players with injunctions against the papers printing stories about them cheating, add that to cole, terry, crouch and now rooney, i think all england fans should now make a stand and really let these players know its not good enough.

I wonder who the other 3 players are, apparently 2 injunctions are due to be reviewed in the next 2 weeks, but the other is defo not being lifted due to the newspaper getting the story from the players mobile phone which was stolen with photo's etc

Hang on folks--isn't a man innocent until proven guilty? Most of us have been around long enough to know that with tabloids there is always a 50% chance that a story could be fabricated. I for one will hold my judgment until the full facts are revealed.
