United Move 'A Dream' - Bebe 12/08/2010
![]() New Manchester United signing Bebe has hailed his move from Vitoria De Guimaraes to Old Trafford as 'a dream come through'. The shock deal was announced last night, with Sir Alex Ferguson dishing out £7.4 Million for the 20-year-old Portuguese striker... Bebe has agreed personal terms with The Reds, and will become an official United player as long as he passes a medical in Manchester tomorrow. The 20-year-old moved from the Portuguese third division to Vitoria SC just over a month ago, and has scored 5 goals in 6 pre-season games. The 6ft 3in striker, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, represented his homeland, Portugal, in the CAIS Charity Cup for the homeless two years ago. Sir Alex flew to Lisbon earlier this week to assist former no. 2 Carlos Queiroz in a court battle. The boss was alerted to Bebe by Queiroz and met the Vitoria front-man for the first time on Tuesday. United moved swiftly for Bebe, amid interest from two unnamed Premier League clubs and Spanish giants Real Madrid. Bebe spoke to fellow countryman Luis Nani - from the same area - and was convinced to join Old Trafford. Speaking briefly on the deal, Bebe said: "I am very happy. I had the dream of playing, one day, for a major club. That dream has come true. Football can change lives, very much..." Commentsbrian 12/08/2010 6:28pm

Rather then waning on why SAF didn't buy this and that, I choose to believe in the man who has brought us so much glories. Who is Hernandez 2 months ago? but looking at him now, I have no doubts he will shine in EPL this season. Nani was said to be a flop, but now seems like he is writing the critics off. C. Ronaldo was an unknown when he first signed for United...but how much did Real paid for him? Bebe, looking at his video clips, seems more of an A.M, or wingers... and I thought he have the potential to be Ronaldino, who we missed out.. haha.. so.. lets be faithful and continue to believe in the old man.

Ozil Ozil doesnt look like a Utd player, lad looks a no body, the wrong end of a mouse. Ppl just cant accept fact Sir Alex clearly doesnt rate the germany 4game lucky boy, you ppl dont understand, maybe mr 1-demension doesnt want join Utd, maybe mr inconsistant wants join Barca.
