nobody knows what he's gonna be like. nobody knew Ronaldo, or Hernandez and look how they turned out.

How can man.utd fans doubt fergie's business in the transfer market?! Look at the Hernandez signing, we signed him unknown and now an instant fans favourite. Have faith, Fergie knows what he is doing. We snatched him before real madrid and bebe can play behind the striker.

If we did get Ozil it would complete a fantastic summer of signings! Just like the Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves, Tevez summer a while back :D

Bebe is said to be an striker who can play as a attacking midfielder, he's a pacey lad with good vision and technique, he be a good passer of the ball and a goal scorer. Bebe is a strong physical boy and is described to be like a brick wall in terms of strenght, i think at 20 we can say this is a good bit of buisness as he still in the development stage as a player and could turn out to be a fantastic player this year, i rather give him a chance then Ozil who is inconsistant, 1-demensional and weak.

Yeah, what an unproven twerp. Jeez, he has only scored against Chelsea and Apain in his last two games... and pah, two goals in a world cup? Rubbish... as a sub even. What were we thinking?

I think it's hilarious that people question Ferguson. Ignorant twats! He's not only the king, but the Lord, Agent Mulder and the Virgin Mary in one supernatural being.

dear oh dear gizmoj doesnt half look a fool, mate its ozil ppl should worry bout not chicharito. ozil did well in a team with stars like muller, klose and podolski where as javier was the star of mexico. Javier has a score rate of 2.2, starred at the world cup & was chivas talisman, javier has scored 10 in last 13- against teams such as holland, france, argentina, mls, utd, chelsea & spain. He has scored past barca & estudiants, the lad scored on official utd debut last sunday, Chicharito is the real deal.

The impressive Chicharito scored 3 in 3 on pre-season with us, scored on his competitive debut in the cshield, smash them past france and argentina at wc, scored past spain last night...He haves 40 gls in 91 career games (mexico 10/17, chivas 29/73, utd 1/1), Javier is a rare talent (just like solskjaer), a natural gl scoring machine, quick, skillful and plays without fear, javier is quickly becoming a utd superstar and any1 who thinks he aint world class knows nothing bout football.

Sorry gizmoj your logic is so flawed. you didn't know ozil 2 months ago so don't give me BS about proving he is capable over 3 or 4 games.

pls allow allow fergie to his job. who knew CR7 or CHICARITO, so lets wait and see what this guy(bebe) is capable of. OZIL is not worth it although he is good but not consistent. i hope bebe well. united forever.

@Arass OZIL is NOT worth 12 MILLION? You obviously didn't watch him at the world cup

Arass 12/08/2010 11:44am
Darren i watched ozil at the world cup and to say he was one of the best players of the tournament but i think he is too slow for united play style that is why fergie don't wanna sign him. but lets hope bebe becomes a star.

Crying out loud what is it with these school gurls and their sick little Ozil crush. We didnt need him, we never never him, Manchester required an creative player who was attack minded and we got that in Bebe, an old school player who learned his trade on the streets, the young man is a special talent so why dont all you sick ozil lovers grow up and get over it. Welcome the new kid, he deserves this chance as much as any one.

Darren 12/08/2010 11:59am
What we mean is that if ozil was 30 million with still 3 years on his contract sure we don't need to pay that much for him, but he's there for 12 million.. 12 million.. :(

£7.4M for a player that hasnt played at any decent level and unproven, strange to say the least.

I think he is a good signing and i dont think SAF has brought him to be a striker, he will be converted to a permanent m/fielder, his strength, physique, techiniqueand and vision will help us have a strong mid. What abt his hight! we are good to go....

Well...you guys better stop criticising someone who've made united the greatest club in EPL history. Looking at Ozil, I doubt he is that good. Sadly, not many German have excelled in EPL, not even Ballack, I thought he was much better back in Germany. you guys are talking about forking out 12-15 millions for a player whose contract runs out in a year time? How about his salary?? Then, if he is that good, why not wait a year more? If he ended up playing for Real or Barca, then he's not fit to play for Man Utd afterall.
