Paul Scholes struck his 150th Manchester United goal in the 11th minute, with The Reds looking very bright in the first half. Despite a good first period performance, the second half was anything but good. Simon Davies found the net after a number of mishaps in the United defence, leveling the scores.

As Sir Alex's Red Army pushed for a winner, Luis Nani's corner was passed into the net by Fulham center-back Brede Hangeland in the 85th minute. The win was surely in the bag just a while later, as United were awarded a spot kick, but Nani failed to convert - goalie David Stockdale saving to his right.

With a minute of regulation time remaining, The Cottagers were awarded a corner. Hangeland headed home to level the scores two-a-piece. After the game, the gaffer said: "In fairness, I think they deserved a point because they played very well in the second half. The first half belonged to us. Their goalkeeper made a couple of good saves which could have put us in a comfortable position."

"But in the second half they upped their game and played better than us, you've got to give credit to them, they deserved their point." The manager added: "He's done it before, he's got a tremendous record over the years and once again he's done it."

why the hell was nani taking a penalty as soon as he stepped up i knew it wasnt going in, we might as well of let vidic take it.

as for buying it would be nice, cheap and proven like diarra and van der vaart would be great. as we prob could nick both for around £15m as real want rid due to there new buys.

we should either sell gibson or get him a premiership loan and we are probably better off letting cleverly go out on loan, since he hasnt even made the bench in the last 3 games.

United didn’t deserve to get all 3 points, Fulham played very well and a draw is a fair result…

As I've been supporting Manchester United for more than 30 years, I'm sorry to said that we are going backward in terms of signing in and losing out our own stars. We've lost the services of Super Ronaldo and Tevez, while the 3 players that SAF've brought in last summer, apart from Valencia who play quite well, have made only little impact (M.Owen, A.Valencia, G.Obertan). This summer I think we over paid (again) for the signatures of Hernandez and C.Smalling (Both of them cost United more than 10 million pounds each for their signature, how’s come????) We've also spend more than 7 million pounds for an unknown Portugese player!!! Don’t you think they are crazy??? OR, is there any corruption going on in the transfer policy of Manchester United???…

In comparison to the others, Arsenal singed Chamakh for FREE, while Liverpool also get Joe Cole for FREE!!!!… Both are well known and much more valuable player than those 3 that United spend nearly 30 million. If we said that we have enormous debt and have no money to compete with the like of Chelsea, City, Barcelona, or Real Madrid, WHY WE SPEND OUR LIMITED AMOUNT OF MONEY LIKE THIS ?????

Even when we look back at the last 3 seasons, we sign Zoran Tosic for more than 10 million, and rarely gave him a chance, which eventually sell him this summer for an undisc-fee. I also believe that we paid over price for the service of Anderson.

The success of United rely very much on youth system (Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Neville brothers, etc.) but we still need to bring in top class players. In the past, United signed very good players, but after Vidic, there is no top class player signing at all. The fans want to see big name players coming, but no one is coming. On the other hand we’ve lost C.Ronaldo, C.Tevez and we are about to lost Giggs, Scholes, Neville, Van Der Sar through their ages. R.Ferdinand and O.Hargreves are always injured. SO, as a United fan, what should we praying for???…
