 Manchester United have drawn Spanish side Valencia, Scottish giants Rangers and Turkish club Bursaspor in Group C of the UEFA Champions League Group Stages. A fair Group over-all for The Red's, avoiding Real Madrid... United were lucky enough on Thursday evening, avoiding any major clubs in this season's Group Stages of the Champions League - the road to Wembley. Valencia, Rangers and Bursaspor stand in Sir Alex's way in Group C - with a Rangers away tie to relish for the former Ibrox striker. The Red Devils met Valencia four times in two season in Europe, back in 1999 up until 2001. United won one of the four ties, drawing three against the Spaniards, who finished 3rd in La Liga last season. SPL Winners Rangers clashed with The Reds back in 2003/2004, where we won both the matches. Meanwhile, Turkish champions Bursaspor are a débutante side in the Champions League, and obviously have never met United beforehand. Our Champions League fixtures are as follows;

Obviosuly there aren't any easy games in the Champions League, but i think we've done very well. Valencia do not have the likes of David Villa & Silva as both have moved on, but they are still a threat and they have Silva's understudy Juan Mata who is an awesome player. Rangers will be a tough one, and will come out all guns blazing as will Bursaspor. brian 26/08/2010 6:26pm

Brian i couldnt careless if we signed no1 else, the team is good enough to win all the major honours on show this year. Looking forward to Bursaspor as we've never played them before and love it when face a new team, can't wait travel out to turkey as it the one country never been.
