 United stopper Edwin Van Der Sar has blasted Fabio Capello's treatment of England's goalkeepers during the World Cup. The former Holland International said Capello should not have kept his selection from his players, and had a right to tell David James, Rob Green and Joe Hart who his main goalie was... Van Der Sar, Holland's most-capped player ever - with 130 appearances - said: “There was some discussion about who was England’s No.1 going into the World Cup, but the situation never really seemed to be resolved." “For myself, in my situation, if I was Robert Green, David James or Joe Hart I’d have wanted to know if I was the man or not. It seemed to be up in the air and maybe it was unsettling.” Van Der Sar also thought Robert Green's mistake in the game against the United States was blown out of proportion. “I don’t think Robert was the only keeper to have trouble during the World Cup. Don't worry, I think Capello is a FAB (gedit?) manager. I don't want to take anything away from that fact. Sir Alex didn't do well with Scotland, bcause he wasn't given enough time. (anyway, it wasn't like the Scots would have won the World Cup or anything). The FA are right to keep him there, and he should stay there for another World Cup, unless there is a complete disaster in Euro 2012.
