Lassana Diarra to Manchester United ?...
According to some reports today, Manchester United are considering a £20 Million bid for Real Madrid's combative midfielder, Lassana Diarra. The 25-year-old is expected to be left in the shadow of new arrival Sami Khedira - who Sir Alex was also reported to be interested in...

  Report By: Zico Hernandez, 7:15pm

Reports have today suggested that United may make a £20 Million move for France International Lassana Diarra. With the arrival of German International Sami Khedira, it is expected that the former Chelsea and Arsenal man will fall down the pecking order at Madrid and will probably seek a move away from the club.

Sir Alex is said to be a keen admirer of Diarra, 25, who has played over 50 games for Real Madrid in two seasons, and will probably keen to sign him now that Owen Hargreaves has suffered another injury setback.

Mesut Ozil is another name that has popped-up on numerous occasions in the tabloids, and if the Diarra rumours are true - Ozil may be sidelined...

£20million for this geezer when we won't even fork out £12m for the far superior Oezil? Somehow I doubt it.

Ozil is much better than Lass...

Real Madrid don't want Lass anymore, while they want to sign Ozil. At the same time all top teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, are all chasing Ozil signature, while no one seems interesting in signing Lass...

So, why United want to spend more money on Lass????

Ozil is a much better than Lass. He's more clever, very skillful, has better pace, and better in creative thinking for attacking game in modern football. Ozil is younger, and play a key role for the German Int. Team, whereas Lass is just a player for France. The only one thing that Lass is better than Ozil is defensive skill, which I think United already have Fletcher.

So, Ozil is a much better option...

Yeah right! This is about the 250th player that United are about to swoop for this summer. Sir Alex will move for Defour only if his hand is played in similar fashion to Rooney after Newcastle tried to sign him.

tbh we need both with hargreaves seemingly always out we lack a good ball winning dm and we lack a young creative spark in the middle and considering 433 seems to be used for tougher games, it makes sense too.

but if we can only have one then ozil should be our top target.

also we were linked earlier this summer with lass but his over priced at £20m. plus as usual we get linked to anyone so its hard to know if any of this talk is real.

OZIL IS YOUNG,BUT WE CAN,T JUDGE HIS PERFORMANCE ON A SIGLE TONAMENT(WORLD CUP) ,BUT DIARRA IS A SEASONED PLAYER WHO NEEDS NO TRIAL,

I doubt this one is true either. Ozil and Lass are different. Comparing them is unfair. I don't think we'll sign either of them. United move for a player, the value doubles.

20 million for dirra / 12 million for ozi. i would pick ozil with out shadow out duth. a lot of papers said we wil bid for ozil this weak once we are back from per season . dont get upset we will bid for him this weak all will be reavled the end the weak we should have signed ozil no information jiust got feeling. and every united fan will be delighted. and break for another summer transfers. once ozi is signed i am talking a yeat break from the web.

Khedira cost Real £10m... why on Earth would we pay £20m for Diarra if we weren't prepared to spend £10m on Khedira??? and as for Oetzil... he's holding out for a move to Real next season on a free transfer, just check the German news reports rather than the rubbish in the UK tabloids.

RE: Vince

Ozil is a Braca fan. Not a Real fan. He'd hardly hold-out for Real when they've singed Sami Khedira... unless he'd money-driven >?>?>?...

I take your point and can only reiterate that in an interview Ozil gave to the German media today he said that he's going to stay at Bremen for another year; the Real story might just be speculation by German reporters - unless he IS indeed money-driven (wouldn't be the first). If Barca can't get Cesc then he might end up there next year, but I don't believe he's coming to OT in any event. We'll see...

another useless article.
if we have 20 mill avaialble to spend on a midfielder it won't be going on this fucker.

united-latest, why are both user articles complete bullshit? One is by a wind up merchant (probably a scouser) slating fergie and this is completely made up about diarra.
