Celtic Game Was A Good Test - Berbatov 17/07/2010
![]() Dimitar Berbatov was delighted to get back in action as United brushed Celtic aside in Toronto on Friday night. Berba scored, and set-up Danny Welbeck and Chris Smalling as The Reds ran-out 3-1 winners. The 29-year-old Bulgarian has been training all summer and showed his true class on Friday night... "It's the first game of pre-season, still too early to judge, but it was a good test of our physical form and technical as well," said Berba. "I enjoyed the whole game. We have started well with a win. We have a lot of games before the season starts so I think we will be fully prepared." Berbatov has clearly lost some weight over the summer, as you can see in the picture above. Rumour has it that he has been weight lifting to build-up for the new season. "When the summer comes you don't stop playing, you play with your friends," he said. "But when you come here you play with your team-mates. The season is starting so it's very exciting. You come to new countries, see new people, play different teams and it's very exciting." Commentsmarko 17/07/2010 2:53pm
good run out for both teams, 3-1 well flattered utd. Some of the fringe players looked decent on both sides, hope Samaras performance fooled some greedy EPL managers into making a bid. Hail hail
