Wayne Rooney has deservedly won Sir Matt Busby Player Of The Year 2010, after a fantastic season at Old Trafford. William Keane claimed the Jimmy Murphy Young Player Of The Year award, while Ritchie De Laet earned the Denzil Haroun Reserve Player Of The Year at United's prestigious awards ceremony !

Rooney received more than 80% of the vote for United Player Of The Year, with Patrice Evra and Antonio Valencia behind the England International. Wazza has scored 34 goals for The Reds this season and has become the first Englishman to claim the Sir Matt Busby award since Teddy Sheringham won it in 2001. Roo adds the gong to his three PFA and FWA awards.

Roo also received the Players' Player Of The Year accolade from Sir Alex and the Goal Of The Season trophy for his strike on the counter-attack against Arsenal on 31 January this year.
