Despite the heartbreak of losing-out to Chelsea, Luis Nani has remained confident and is very much looking forward to next season. It isn't easy, he admits, but he has urged fans to forget about this season and think about the next. 'United is a very strong club...'

“We are disappointed,” he told the club's official channel, MUTV. “We were so close. We had a lot of chances to win the league. Against Chelsea at home we didn’t win and that was the game that we lost the league."

“We hoped for the best result for us today, but it didn’t happen. Chelsea did so well this season and we were 90 per cent sure that they would win against Wigan. When Chelsea scored the Stoke fans celebrated all their goals and we knew what was going on.”

But despite all the doom and gloom, Nani remains upbeat about this time next year; “We still have to be confident about next season. Next year we will be fantastic because we will show that we are strong and we will work hard. We did so well and it was quite equal between ourselves and Chelsea. You could say we deserved to win the title as well..."

He added: "We have to forget about this and think about next season. We’ll be strong next season. United is a very strong club, we have a very strong mentality. We didn’t win the league this season, but next time we will !”

Chelsea won because they were the better team this season.just as United were better over the last three seasons.the Red Devils will come back next season.

It must be tough for the past 3 years, just like what John Terror had declared. You have to learn how to be gracious, win or lose.
He had admitted that he had felt hurt but he sure knows how to deal with the pain by banging on his friend and colleague's girlfriend. So I toast to all John Terror's team-mates(curent), followers and not forgetting his wife for a successful CUNTPAIGN. What a LEADER!!!

What a load of nonsense. An example of a one-man team is Chelski. Take Didier 'Diver' Drogba - who fought with Lampard over the penalty !

Like I said, do your worst, we,ll be waiting for you.Our manager wont be having his first season in the premiership next year and the sublime Essien will be back.

Yet on the last day of the season - they two are still level on goals. Who got the PFA Player's Player if the Year, PFA Fans' Player of the Year and FWA Player of the Year... eh, Wayne Rooney !

What gave you the idea that manure have a snowballs chance in hell next year with a whisky sodden " manager" a team of journey men plus Shrek, a debt bigger than Greece's, owners who dont know the first thing about "soccer", who are snaffling up what tiny profits you make and a right back who makes JT seem like a nice guy.Seeya next season for our 6 points
