What sort of an idiot wears a scarf in a pub. That bar must have been rank with all those sweaty fans. Don't they know it's outdoor attire? And what's with the banner? Maybe they think the television is the all seeing eye and the Glazers will get the message that there are some people who wear scarves and wave banners in pubs in Manchester, rather than getting a ticket and watching the game. That will have those pesky Glazers on the run!

Why would anyone have a fundraiser for the green and yellow scarf campaign? New, summer range perhaps?

I have been a United fan since the early sixties and lived through several bad owners. I was a shareholder and a member of Shareholders United for years. If only we had known that the way to get rid of bad owners was to wear another club's scarves, we'd have done it in the 70's.

But this isn't about changing the owners. It's about blind hatred and prejudice and that's why it's losing support and the 'Glazer die' songs are being shouted down in the ground.

Remember, not all United fans are filled with hate and bile. Some of us love the club. Some of us go to games. Some of us hate been manipulated by an unelected mob.

Anyway, it's a nice little earner for Sean's holiday fund.
