Wayne Rooney has earned his second, and third footballing award inside a week. The goal machine has bagged two more awards, as the PFA Player Of The Year claimed PFA Fan's Player Of The Year and Football Writers’ Association Player Of The Year ! - Rooney has scored 34 goals this season, and may score even more - as he will return for The Red's last two games... 

Earlier this week, Roo was deservedly named PFA Player Of The Year - also earning a place in the PFA Team Of The Year, along with Patrice Evra, Antonio Valencia and Darren Fletcher. But Wazza has now claimed two more awards; the PFA Fan's Player Of The Year, and more importantly the Football Writers' Association Player Of The Year... 

Roo will receive his second and third award later next month, as he took the opportunity to thank the boss, the staff and his colleagues; "I am delighted to win an award with so much history and tradition and to follow a long line of wonderful players who have been honoured by the Football Writers' Association since 1948 gives me real pride," said the England star."I would like to take this opportunity to thank my manager at United, Sir Alex Ferguson, the coaching staff and my team-mates, without whose help and support this award would not have been possible."
