After a disappointing season for Nani so far, he could be on his way back to Portugal. Nani has only scored two goals in all competitions this season and much more was expected of him after the void of goals left by Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Madrid. Sir Alex has his eyes on Argentinian flanker Ángel Di María and Nani has reportedly been offered as a player-plus-cash incentive to bring the 21-year-old playmaker to The Theatre Of Dreams.

Di María's pricetag was stated by SL Benfica to be £30 Million, however with Nani in the exchange the price may be halved. As usual with nearly every United target comes with it Manchester City's interest, however Di María expressed that he 'loves' United and so he might not be so keen on a City move.  

Nani has had hardly any starts and has asked his agent Jorges Mendes to look for any clubs in Spain or Italy who might sign him, however he is not so keen on a move back to his home-land. Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly fell-out with Nani at the beginning of the season in a dressing room 'flare-up', this was denied by Sir Alex but Nani recently expressed his anger at being left on the bench.
