Ferdinand: Back in training for the past few weeks
Rio Ferdinand is expected to return for The Reds, after missing United's last 20 matches. The solid centre-back has been out since October, after suffering a back injury. Hull travel to Old Trafford on Saturday - and Sir Alex has said that Ferdinand could make a start.

Jonny Evans wants to put the Leeds defeat behind him and beat Manchester City. The centre-back returned on Sunday after being out for 2 months, his 22nd Birthday was also on Sunday, however his celebrations were crushed as Leeds won 1-0 at OT - but Evans thinks United can win on Wednesday in the Carling Cup.

Boss Sir Alex admitted that he was 'shocked' and 'surprised' after crashing out of the FA Cup Third Round. United were frustrated after poor finishing and lack of creativity lead them to defeat at the hands of rivals Leeds United.

The boss said that the preparation ahead of the game was good but the performance during the game was bad.
